waiting waiting waiting

We are continuing to wait for a referral and the anticipation just keeps growing and growing. I (Jenny) e-mailed with our social worker at Dillon Southwest today and found out they have more families than usual waiting for a referral. So the good news is I now have a reason for why it is taking longer than I expected for a referral. The not so fun news is there could be lots more waiting ahead of us. God is giving me strength daily to wait for a referral (I don't think I've ever wanted anything so much!) and I know when the time is right we will get one. Suzanne, our pastor's wife gave me the best perspective when she said that our child, the child God has for us, isn't ready yet. He may not be old enough or whatever, but when he is ready for us we'll know it. Thanks for all your prayers and we'll keep you updated!
